Sponsorship goal for Ajax

MTN South Africa continues its support for football in South Africa, signing a deal to sponsor local football giants, Ajax Cape Town. Ajax is currently the team that is considered title contenders for the 2007/8 ABSA Premiership. MTN has signed an agreement which makes it the title sponsor of the Cape Town-based club. Ajax is popularly known as the 'Urban Warriors' and the deal demonstrates MTN's support for the development of football in South Africa in the build-up towards the Soccer World Cup in 2010.
