ASAIB Annual Conference 2015 call for papers

The ASAIB 2015 Award for best index and/or bibliography published during 2014 will be made at the conference taking place on 21 and 22 May at Willows Country Lodge in Pretoria.

R800 per person per day including conference attendance, conference pack, coffee/tea and refreshments, lunches, and finger food after the AGM.

Apart from papers, the programme includes two parallel workshops/round table discussions on each day (40 minutes each), the AGM and Awards on 21 May followed by a get together.

Summaries of prospective papers and workshop ideas should be submitted in MS Word to Marlene Burger at az.mon.regrub@enelram before 6 April 2015

Scope: Getting young indexers involved; focus on training and learning experiences; indexing and languages/indigenous languages; understanding and working together with the publishing industry; indexing specialised subjects; the concept of 'providing access' to information, and so on.
