Union Buildings celebration for Freedom Day

On Sunday 27 April 2014, to celebrate 20 years of freedom and democracy, President Zuma will address the nation at the free Freedom Day celebrations at the Union Buildings in Pretoria. He will also bestow National Orders on citizens and individuals from the rest of the world who made an exceptional contribution in serving the country and its people with excellence in different spheres of life.

A cultural programme, where South African musicians will take the audience down memory lane, will follow the formal programme. The event takes place between 8am and 12:30pm.
