New conference phone for VOIP

Polycom has launched its SoundStation IP 5000 conference phone offers robust SIP-based VoIP interoperability. It features HD Voice and is designed specifically for the needs of private offices and small meeting rooms, as its voice quality reportedly surpasses that of traditional desktop speakerphones. It is expected to begin shipping in April throughout North America and Europe and in other select countries worldwide.
