Make a connection with job seekers

An innovative new website is showcasing the online portfolios of job candidates. The 'Make a Connection Programme' from the Youth Development Trust (YDT) includes an online service that allows potential employers and recruitment companies to view a video of the job candidate speaking about their experiences, strengths and goals; a down-loadable resume; photos; and other background information. These can be seen at www.makeaconnection.co.za. Programme participants spend an intense three-month period gaining much needed life, entrepreneurial and information and communications technology (ICT) skills.
