Overdrive - free online music magazine launches

Overdrive, a free online music magazine, focusing on the genres of rock, indie, alternative and punk has launched in South Africa. The launch issue features South African band Shortstraw along with popular UK bands Idlewild, China Drum and Ben Howard as well as American band, Little Hurricane.

It will also have a dedicated section to purchasing and playing instruments. The best albums from across the rock sphere are reviewed in each issue. Taking digital publications to the extreme, it allows readers to watch music videos and concerts, listen to the music, read an interview, visit the artist's social media pages and download albums, all from one neatly packaged and visually appealing place.

The latest issue of Overdrive will go live on the 15th of every month, 12 times a year. It is available now at www.overdrivemusicmag.com.
