Internet Banking set for European Growth
According to a brief by Forrester Research, online banking will penetrate more than half of Europe's population by the year 2005 (110 million people). As Internet use becomes more pervasive and online security concerns are addressed, online banking in Europe is attracting more than 1 million new consumers each month.
Presently a third of European users (42 million people), or 14% of European adults, use the Internet for banking.
