GMR gives Alexandra Taxi Association a lift

Jabulani Mabaso, GMR Transit Media Strategic Development Director, recently presented Vallie Tembe, Chairperson of Alexandra Taxi Association (ATA) with a cheque for R10 000 from the GMR Transit Media Taxi Upliftment. GMR, an Altmedia brand, embarked on the GMR Taxi Upliftment Fund to assist in building and improving the industry. This included the signing of a Code of Conduct. The donation will go towards amortising the cost of ATA's newly purchased office building or towards furnishing the new premises, said Mabaso.
