New reality show for Afrikaans music talent
KykNET is launching a new music talent show called 'Zing', which gives duos the opportunity to perform Afrikaans songs for a R25 000 cash prize and a CD contract. In addition, 'Zing' becomes a platform to promote Afrikaans music from alternative to country, whilst providing local content. Nationwide auditions will be taking place from November 2002 through to December 2002, in Bloemfontein, Pretoria, Nelspruit, Cape Town and Windhoek.
