Government Ads on Aids in Major Papers

The Government placed ads in all major newspapers today in an effort to clear up confusion on the AIDS debate. Following a government statement yesterday that backed Gauteng Premier Shilowa's programme to supply Nevirapine at state hospitals and clinics, today's newspaper announcement attempts to clear up controversy surrounding the government's stance on the issue.
