Primedia reports record results
Primedia's headline earnings per share for the six months ending in December soared a massive 396.3%, totalling 32.1 cents a share compared with 8.1 cents for the same period last year. The media and entertainment group reported a 15% growth in revenue, totalling nearly R898.6 million for the six-month period. Operating profit soared 39.4% to R132.7 million. Operating profit from advertising businesses grew 46.8% to R113.1 million.
