2020 Effie Awards SA moved to October
The Association for Communication and Advertising (ACA) has postponed the 2020 Effie Awards South Africa summit and gala event October due to the spread of the novel coronavirus in South Africa and recent announcements from the government. The summit and gala event will now take place on 7 and 8 October respectively.
The ACA says it has taken necessary steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees and they remain committed to recognising and awarding effectiveness in marketing and communications. The agency has also extended the entry period and new judging dates.
