M-Net open time to end in 2007
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) has decided to close the two-hour free-to-air M-Net Open Time window as of 1 April 2007. Icasa chairman, Mandla Langa, says that the decision was taken to ensure fair competition between broadcasters as the market opens up to new subscription broadcasters later this year.
