Telkom gives maximum publicity to 'Hellkom'

Marketing 101 on how to damage your corporate reputation: Telkom yesterday issued a lawyers letter to the owners of the website, www.hellkom.co.za, threatening to sue for R5 million if the website did not close down by today, thereby ensuring maximum publicity for the site which was set up some time ago for Telkom customers to vent their frustrations or air complaints. Naturally, the website says it will just move servers to outside SA borders.
