Paarl and Wellington shine at Cape Winelands Tourism awards

The Cape Winelands District Municipality Tourism Awards recently took place in Wellington and saw members of the Drakenstein Local Tourism Association, namely that of Paarl and Wellington, walk away with several accolades.
 
The Paarl region produced two of the winners, namely Spice Route Destination in the Tourism Business of the Year category and Le Bonheur Croc Farm in the Adventure and Outdoor category. Val du Charron Wine and Olive Estate in Wellington were announced as runner-up in the Tourism Business of the Year category while Paarl Wine Route's Rhebokskloof came second in the Wine Tourism Destination category.
 
This was the fifth edition of the awards, which recognises excellent performance within the Cape Winelands tourism industry.
