Judging starts on 2010 SAFTAS
Eighty-five television and film industry professionals have begun judging entries to this year's South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS). Their main focus will be on critique of excellence in scripts and/or content, creativity and execution. Paul Raleigh has been reappointed to oversee the judging process. This year there are 257 entries across 18 genres, an increase on last year's 221 entries. Apart from the awards for feature films and Life Time Achievement, which will be judged in January 2011, all other judging will be completed by 1 November 2010.
