Extension for entry to media awards
In an amusing explanation, the organisers of this year's Sanlam MDDA Local Media Awards have extended the entry deadline to Friday, 10 September 2010, citing the crippling public service strike, severe flooding in Pakistan, Paris Hilton's cosy relationship with cannabis and the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina as reasons for the extension.
