IBM South Africa partnering with Habitat for Humanity

In celebration of the brand's centenary, IBM South Africa marked the occasion by partnering with Habitat for Humanity which will see them build 10 houses over the month of July. IBM South Africa will donate more than 100 000 hours of service in commemoration of the company's centennial.
The company has encouraged IBMers across the country to volunteer their time and talent throughout 2011 and undertaken a significant volunteer project with Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit housing organisation. This project will see more than 700 IBM'ers help build 10 homes from ground up for homeless citizens in Orange Farm outside Johannesburg and Mufuleni in the Cape - all in the month of July.
