MWEB launches retail store in Canal Walk

On Friday, 27 August 2010, the who's who of Cape Town such as SA Rock Star, Ard Matthews from Just Jinjer and TV personalities Colin Moss and Mark Bayly were entertained by MWEB at the launch of it's latest retail store in Canal Walk. 2oceansvibe Radio DJs, Seth Rotherham and Richard Hardiman, were in full force broadcasting live from the store and showing the powers of MWEB's Uncapped ADSL.

MWEB was the first ISP to launch Uncapped ADSL broadband in South Africa earlier this year. The new MWEB retail store in Canal Walk complements the Uncapped ADSL service where South African's can now experience the web like never before. The store offers the public an opportunity to gain valuable advice on the best Internet solutions, gadgets and products. Customers are able to interactively experience the benefits of Uncapped ADSL with the help of friendly consultants who demonstrate the powers of the net on two 47 inch touch screen monitors.

MWEB has been powering 2oceansvibe Radio since the beginning of August.The partnership makes full use of the MWEB Uncapped offering, from broadcasting their daily shows through live audio streaming, using Skype for guest interviews and 'phone-in's,' to allowing listeners to download podcasts after the live shows.
