Italian Style in the Streets of Rosebank
Strada Peroni was definitely the place to see and be seen this Saturday and Sunday, with top local celebrities strutting their stylish stuff on the piazza at the Firs Shopping Centre in Rosebank.
Celebrities and locals alike were treated to a stylish street-dining spectacular inspired by Italy, complete with roaming musicians, Italian cuisine, cars, motorcycles, design and fashion.
Hip hop artist JR, comedian Trevor Noah, Generations actress Katlego Danke and MTV Base presenter Sizwe Dhlomo were amongst the many celebrities spotted at Strada Peroni, celebrating la dolce vita in style this past weekend. DJ T-Bose from Kaya FM and popular TV presenter Pepsi Pokane were also there to share the Strada Peroni experience with Kaya FM and Metro FM listeners via live crossings from Rosebank on Saturday.
In addition to some high-quality celeb-spotting and people watching, the entertainment also included Fresca with the Soweto Three Tenors, Ed's Trio, DJ Glen Lewis, DJ Choice with a trumpet duo, Black Coffee, and DJ Phat Jack with Killa Marfa and live vocals.
All in all, style was the order of the day this weekend at Strada Peroni, with top celebrities rubbing shoulders with equally stylish patrons at this high-profile event that's sure to become a fixture on the annual social calendar.
