House of Cinnamon launches S/S '14 collection
Online boutique House of Cinnamon celebrated the launch of its lighter and brighter collection of flats, as well as its first clutch bags, sandles and brogues (all made entirely by hand in SA), on Thursday, 9 October at Skinny Legs & All Luxury Café in Cape Town.
Owner Frances Edwards took the opportunity to announce Cinnamon's name change to House of Cinnamon, and explained what inspired her to extend the range:
"At the same time, the new season and the birth of my first child, a little girl, motivated me to produce a collection that reflects new beginnings. A few months ago, I travelled to Paris, London and Milan to handpick the best in beautiful materials. I fell in love with the crocodile, snake and lizard print fabrics and leather, and was inspired to offer the House of Cinnamon client more by expanding our range to include clutch bags. As with our shoes, the focus is on quality and luxe finishes."
