Danish design wows World Design Capital 2014
On 3 November 2014, in collaboration with World Design Capital 2014, the Embassy of Denmark invited selected guests to a showcase of Danish design and architecture at the Youngblood, Beautifull Life Gallery in Bree Street, Cape Town.
Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and His Excellency Minister of Trade and Development Cooperation, Mr Mogens Jensen were present to open the collection which is billed as "reflecting the beauty and calmness of a country that has been continuously voted the happiest in the world".
The exhibition, which is running from 3-7 November seeks to cement ties between Denmark and South Africa, and to expand collaboration between the two countries.
