FNB continues iPad 2 offer
Since the launch of its tablet and smartphone offer on 19 October 2011, FNB has delivered just over 35000 iPad 2, BlackBerry, Samsung and HTC tablets and smartphones, with the iPad 2 making up more than 80% of the sales. Its offer to cheque account customers at reduced rates of up to 30%, with 24 months to pay, will continue in 2012.
Head of products at FNB Core Banking Solutions, Irlon Terblanche, says, "The offer has attracted a great response with over a thousand tablets and smartphones delivered per day in our record week.
"It is a winning solution, our customers acquire one of the latest top-end devices at a reduced rate with 24 months to pay and we are able to attract and switch customers to our low-cost banking."
