New baby gravies, soups
Many mothers feed their babies soft pap and mashed vegetables and often add soup mixes or off-the shelf gravies to enhance their flavour. However, these mixes are typically designed for adults and contain more salt and spice than a baby should have and little in the way of nutritional value.
Purity has launched new gravy and soup mixes, available in 30g sachets, with each sachet equivalent to six servings. These are available in Chicken and Roast beef, are free of preservatives, colours and artificial flavours and are specially designed for babies and toddlers needs.
Single serve
The company has also brought out its Cream of Maize in a single serve 25g sachet as an option for moms who are looking to offer their baby a nutritious meal enriched with vitamins and minerals but who can perhaps not afford a big pack of Cream of Maize. These are available in original and banana.
Gravy and soup mixes retail from around R5.75 with the Cream of Maize sachets selling from R2.75.
