Radio DJs come alive on tv

The new animated Metro television commercial is designed to be able to break down into four different adverts or seamlessly flow into one. The new ad showcases the station's new primetime DJ line-up by following a day in the life of a 'boom box' as it travels between four different scenes - each one representing one of the four daytime shows.

A joint collaboration between Net#work BBDO, Masters and Savant and Bite produced the final ad. Creative team Graeme Jenner and Shane gave basic guidelines to four different animators: "Produce each segment in black and white with one additional colour and style that best embodies the feel of the different shows."

Together with the four different custom-made music tracks the outcome is described as a visual extravaganza.
