OFM turning up the volume this summer

As the leading commercial radio station in Central South Africa, OFM is committed to bringing its listeners the best in local and international talent and never more so than during the summer. During this time, many of our loyal listeners are relaxing at home and many more South Africans are travelling through the OFM footprint en route to their holiday destinations.

What's more, OFM is letting our listeners take over the airwaves by requesting their favourite songs in All Request Summer! From 19 December, listeners can WhatsApp their requests all day, every day until the New Year. This is just one of the ways OFM would like to thank its listeners for their loyal support throughout the year.

Says OFM General Manager, Nick Efstathiou: "It's all about the music at OFM and we would like to give our listeners the opportunity to hear their favourites all summer long. We love summer and what better way to spend quality down time with family and friends than by listening to memory-making music! December is also traditionally a busy month on Central South Africa's roads as people travel to and from their holiday destinations. Hopefully, OFM will help to make the journey a little more pleasant by playing great songs for the journey."

OFM will also be getting Central South Africans into the festive spirit by playing the best Christmas pop songs and the best songs of 2016 during the chart weekend on 30 and 31 December, as well as 1 January 2016. Listeners can look forward to dancing along to the world's top 20 dance songs, the top 100 most-loved songs on OFM and the global top 30 songs of 2016.
