Top SA celebrities battle it out in anti-ageing contest

South African celebrities have embarked on a journey to discover the secrets to anti-ageing in the Aqua Bimini Lifestyle Challenge, a web-based reality-style contest (http://www.health24.com).

Like Body for Life, Big Brother and Extreme Makeover all rolled into one, the cast of the challenge includes international supermodels Tanya Fourie and Josie Borain, beauty queen Wilma Van Der Bijl, models Kerry & Tracy McGregor and their mom Kim, fashion gurus Gert van Der Merwe and Malcom Kluk, ex-Bok Joost Van Der Westhuizen and his actress-singer wife Amor - and top chef Reuben Riffel.

With anti-ageing the booming wave of the beauty and wellness industry, South African-produced Aqua Bimini is claimed to be the world's first anti-ageing water. Through a patented extract, QuinMaxTM, the product is said to be the latest breakthrough in the fight against ageing through an ability to repair DNA and protect against cellular stress. (Before they embark on Forever Young, the celebrities will have their blood sampled for DNA testing, which will be re-assessed later in the lifestyle programme after they have consumed the product over a given set of months.)

In the challenge, each of the celebrities embark on a tailor-made lifestyle makeover and each week the browser is able to follow their quest to looking good, living healthily and enjoying life.

The browser will also be able to read the celebrities' own blogs and also view report backs from their dieticians and fitness coaches on their progress.

Apart from gym, diet and lifestyle, the celebrities will be followed as they go for treatments at Camelot Spa or other sessions where needed. And there'll be pictures to tell the tale. A unique meter will illustrate how their moods are affected by their eating habits, sleeping patterns and certain vices! By registering, browsers can also win one of 10 makeovers, get to meet the celebrities and win spot prizes.
