The festival will take place on 26 November at the Polokwane Cricket Grounds and promises to showcase some of the land's most celebrated artists on Limpopo soil, a region known for its colourful cultural diversity. Performances will range from electrifying Afro-Jazz sounds to upbeat Kwaito and Hip-Hop jams, allowing the radio station's listeners and festival guests an opportunity to explore South Africa through music.
The festival turns the spotlight on some of the country's most high-profile and critically acclaimed artists, such as Caiphus Semenya, Thandiswa Mazwai and Kabelo, all of whom have a substantial following in the country.
"Capricorn FM is very proud to be hosting the festival for the third consecutive year. This year the festival coincides with the on-air birth of Capricorn FM. With MTN and White Star's support the festival has grown from strength to strength and I am confident that this year the festival will once again be a success," says Simphiwe Mdlalose, Capricorn FM CEO.
