New chief marketing officer at Nando's

Michael Cathie has been appointed as the new chief marketing officer for Southern Africa business, effective 1 April 2013.

Originally from South Africa, he has a wealth of commercial experience in many geographic areas, including Europe, the Middle East and the US. He has worked for a number of global giants, including PepsiCo and Microsoft, in senior director level positions.

"I'm delighted to welcome someone of his calibre to the Nando's family," commented Geoff Whyte, Nando's CEO.
