Investment opportunities at India Show

According to organisers, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India is one of the top investors in South African trade. The show gave trade visitors the opportunity to connect with companies from India, interested in importing their products.
Says Graham Jeffery, Chief Operating Officer for Oasys Cape Town: "The show exhibited over 54 different Indian companies, including large traders such as Tata International. We supplied 531m2 of shell scheme and 3288m2 of carpeting, for the show." He says that Oasys also supplied the fascia boards, plug points, spotlights, distribution boards and furniture.
This was the first show of its kind to be hosted in South Africa and provided the opportunity for a meeting of the high-profile India-South Africa Chief Executives Forum, which was recently reconstituted during the State visit to India by President Jacob Zuma. The 3rd Doing Business with India Conference was also part of the show this year and focused on infrastructure financing and regulations.
"The India Show has a large impact on the trade relationships between South Africa and India. We are proud to have been able to play a role in building these relationships," concludes Jeffery.
