Misconduct vs incapacity: Navigating workplace alcoholism

According to David Parry-Davies, publishing editor of The Enviropaedia, trying to ‘Go Green' is like trying to stop an out-of-control vehicle by applying brakes, while still pumping fuel to the engine. In other words, this is an attempt to solve the problem by addressing the symptoms - not the cause.
The site is considered fun to navigate, beautifully illustrated and has easy to click on tabs that take viewers to a variety of useful sections that cover all aspects of their lives. These include consumer power; eco office; tourism; energy; gardening; green building; natural health; transport; waste; recycling; and water.
It also issues a ‘call to action' - inviting users to send in their tips and hints on how to live and work in an ecological manner. The best tips will be loaded on to the website and these winners rewarded with a free copy of the beautiful Enviropaedia coffee table book.
Parry-Davies says that people will not stop damaging earth's eco-systems until they change the underlying causes that drive their environmentally harmful behaviour. Once they recognise why they have been damaging the eco-systems, they can then begin to behave in a logical manner to change their behaviour and go beyond being fashionably ‘green' to become an ‘eco-logical human being'!
