Missing Link's presentation, 'A crime so monstrous', which reveals the shocking reality behind human trafficking in 40 hard-hitting, emotionally raw and honest slides, was voted as the winning presentation in the education portion of the competition.
Over 3700 people and companies entered presentations into the competition under the categories technology, business, creative/offbeat, education and about me. Users on the SlideShare website racked up over 13 500 votes, with the most voted for presentations making it to the final round of judging. Acting as judges were a group of respected social media and presentation experts including Padmasree Warrior, David Armano and Guy Kawasaki.
The criteria for selecting the winners was based on creativity, visual design, and effectiveness in getting the message across.
