Finalists selected for Elle Decoration Solve 2015

They are Janes Botha and Stefan Hefer; Lara Hooper and Wellington Moyo; Maria Uys and Larita Engelbrecht; and Stacey Ireland, Guy Wood and Giepie Steyn.

The competition is designed to offer young designers a platform from which to display their talents - to show the design community what they are made of. The competition is also a challenge to work according to a brief with creative licence, to work collaboratively with other designers and ultimately to elevate the industry and enhance its competitiveness.

"The entries received from across South Africa have offered young designers a platform. We are proud to have partnered with Adams & Adams in affording young designers the opportunity to grow and highlight their talent through this competition," says Bielle Bellingham, editor of Elle Decoration and Solve 2015.

All finalists and prototypes will be featured in the December/January issue, on the shelf on 30 November 2015 and the website.
