Pick democracy's best 'Doodle 4 Google'
Inspired by our 20 years of freedom, schoolchildren across the country were invited to create a Google Doodle depicting the 'South Africa of Their Dreams' in the first Doodle 4 Google competition dedicated to South Africa.
Local celebrity judges, which include DJ Fresh, author John van De Ruit, Springbok great Pat Lambie, Survivor champ Graham Jenneker, music diva Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Spud star Sven Ruygrok and media and tech entrepreneur Seth Rotherham, have picked their favourite Doodles across four age categories
Public voting is open now until 26 November 2014, when the winning child's doodle will appear on the Google South Africa homepage on 2 December 2014 and his or her winning school will receive a R100,000 technology grant. For more information, go to www.google.co.za/doodle4google.
