The judging panel for this month's Ad of the Month included Zee Tshabangu (Mohlang), Melusi Mhlungu (Draftfcb), Marc Watson (Promise) Ryan Dupen (Havas WW), Mick Shepard (M&C Saatchi Abel), Glen Jeffery (Volcano), Coenrad Grebe (MetropolitanRepublic), Juliet Honey (Net#work BBDO) and Shane Forbes (Hunts).
"This month, we had strong contenders in all categories. It is good to see entries that warrant hot debates during the judging process because of the excellent standard of work. The print and radio categories sparked much debate and, as a result, two first places were awarded in both," said Lang.
Y&R South Africa was awarded second place for its Land Rover 'Pop Down' campaign in the print category, second place for its Land Rover 'Climbing Wall' and third place for Johannesburg Zoo 'Unseen Animals' in the out-of-home category. It won second place in the experiential category for Hope Soap, a collaborative project with Y&R, Safety Lab and Blikkiesdorp4Hope.
