Reshuffling at TBWA\South Africa

Well known creative minds Sandy de Witt, Executive Creative Director of TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris Johannesburg and Nathan Reddy, \Grid Head and Creative Director, have been appointed to the TBWA\South Africa Executive Committee and Bruce Williamson takes over from departing Sue Walker.

Williamson will be taking over the position of TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris's Executive Connections Director from Sue Walker, as Walker leaves the agency to pursue her new position as Chief Executive Officer of radio sales house RadMark. Williamson worked closely with Walker in his previous capacity as Connections Director and will continue delivering the exemplary work the team is known for.

"These are extraordinary creative minds that have challenged and molded creativity in the industry for a long time. As part of the executive committee they will be assuring an increase in creative input across all our companies," says Mike Bosman, Group CEO of TBWA\South Africa.

"Sue has been a valuable member of the TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris team for many years and she will be missed. We wish her luck," said Bosman.

Bolstering the creative leadership are Creative Directors Paul Warner and Damon Stapleton have been promoted to Executive Creative Directors, with Lapeace Kakaza taking up the position of Creative Director.

"Paul, Damon and Lapeace continue to garner the respect of their colleagues and clients. They deliver consistent groundbreaking and exciting work and this is a strategic move to ensure the management of diverse portfolios and delivery on the individual expectations of clients," Bosman continues.

Adding his creative experience to the Cape Town market, TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris Executive Creative Director, Theo Ferreira, will be assisting TBWA\Fusion in Cape Town for the next few months in the same capacity to care-take the creative requirements of the CT based agency. Ferreira, who is well-known for his award-winning work on Sasol, Tiger Brands and BMW, will continue however, to work on his Johannesburg-based accounts.

Bosman added, "We are fortunate to have many highly-gifted creative personalities working in the agencies within TBWA\South Africa. It is great to be able to redeploy some of that talent in positions where they can achieve even more and add huge value within and across the group."
