Loxton heads AAA Creative Faculty
Clive Loxton, a founding partner of ad agency Bernstein Loxton Golding & Klein, has taken over as head of the Creative Faculty at the AAA school of advertising. Loxton says: "What the ad industry needs is people with a different vision who can make consumers see everyday products in a whole new light."
A creative director since his twenties, Loxton has worked at major international agencies such as JWT, Lintas in RSA and FCB in the UK. He has won awards all over the world, including at Cannes, LA and New York as well as the Loerie Grande Prix for TV in South Africa. His portfolio demonstrates an encyclopaedic assembly of leading brands such as KFC, British Airways, Dulux, Standard Bank, SAB, Nissan and Nestlé and Levers.
Since the sale of BLGK to Bates a few years ago, Loxton has been consulting as a communications specialist to the South African Financial Services Board's Review Committee for Consumer Education. He is already a board director of the AAA school, but is now keen to play a more active role in the day-to-day work of preparing sought-after achievers for the ad industry.
