AMASA's media planning book launched

The Advertising Media Association of South Africa's (AMASA) textbook entitled 'Media Planning - Art or Science?' is now in its third edition and once again available

The textbook covers the theory behind media planning, specifically in the South African environment. It is a relevant source of information on the local media situation and explains in easy-to-grasp chapters, the media process from understanding the available research to the compiling of a media plan.

AMASA Chairman, Karen Bailey, says: "AMASA has been at the forefront of media education and training in South Africa and the AMASA textbook has played a key role in training and equipping new media planners with the basic skills needed to face the media challenges of today.
