Joy Walmsley passes away

Those who knew and worked with Joy knew her to be a vibrant and cheerful soul who always lived her life to the full, working in a number of advertising agencies where she contributed to the media scene in her own unique way.

She was known as a tough but fair negotiator - known and loved in many agencies, as well as media owners (who claimed to be scared stiff of her) - and the media-buying scene changed when she left only a few short years ago.

The media community has lost a veritable icon, one who will never be forgotten.

The funeral will be held on Friday 11 February at 10.am at St John's, 1 Pam Road, (off Benmore Road), Morningside, Sandton.
