Rethinking the fiercest predators: A campaign conceptualised by creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town involved placing reversed and transparent decals on the glass panel of the Two Oceans Aquarium tank warning sharks about human predators. Every year 100 million sharks are slaughtered by man. The campaign seeks to highlight the plight of sharks at the hands of fishermen.
The decal reads “Warning: Predators beyond this point.” An additional plaque with the species identification index next to the tank classifies humans as the fiercest predators on Earth.
