CineMARK announces judges for cinema advertising excellence awards

CineMARK, leading screen advertising contractor and official South African Representatives of the Cannes Lions International Advertising festival are pleased to announce the judges for the CineMARK Reel Awards for the October through to December 2002 campaigns.

The Judges for the October to December CineMARK Reel Awards for cinema advertising excellence are:

Mike Archer - J Walter Thompson

Mike Schalit - Network BBDO

Tony Banahan - The Media Shop

Sandy de Witt - TBWA Hunt Lascaris

Quintes Venter - FCB

Award wining entries will be judge on creative execution, effective use of the medium and the overall success of the campaign. Judging will take place on 12 February 2002.

Every three months, throughout the year winning entries will be chosen, each winning entry will then be considered as a finalist for the overall award to be judged in May 2003 prior to the Cannes International Advertising Festival with the overall award-wining entry receiving an all inclusive trip to Cannes for two members of the victorious team compliments of CineMARK.
