Peroni's homage to Fellini
The new Peroni Nastro Azzurro creative campaign pays homage to one of Italy's most stylish creations: the classic movie La Dolce Vita ('The Sweet Life'). Fellini's cinematic masterpiece, recreated in the Peroni Nastro Azzurro commercials, stars South African-born model Landi Swanepoel.
Peroni's La Dolce Vita celebrates timeless Italian chic and the things that make Italy so stylish: tailored suits, modish scooters, and of course... Peroni Nastro Azzurro, the premium Italian beer.
"Italy is where effortless style originated," says Peroni Nastro Azzurro South African brand manager Hilary Jamieson. "The new Peroni Nastro Azzurro campaign captures the essence of Italian style, and we believe it will inspire consumers to embrace our beer just as they have the country it comes from."
Peroni Nastro Azzurro hosted an exclusive preview of La Dolce Vita at the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton recently, premiering the complete three minute commercial homage to Fellini. A 30-second commercial, modeled as a film trailer, debuted on South African television screens late April, with the 60 second version to be broadcast from the end of May.
