Home Loans Specialist

This opportunity is ideal for a driven Bond Originator with a proven track record in property finance and an existing client book. We are looking for professionals who consistently achieve monthly grant figures averaging R5 million or more and who can demonstrate approved grant performance.

Reporting to: Sales Management

Key Responsibilities
● Consult with estate agents and clients daily (in-person and telephonic)
● Conduct affordability assessments and gather financial documentation
● Capture and submit bond applications via DealMaker (bond application) system
● Follow up daily with banks on submitted applications
● Provide regular feedback to clients and stakeholders
● Motivate declined applications and perform rate appeals
● Ensure high conversion ratios from grant to registration
● Ensure sale agreements are completed accurately and on time
● Manage applications through to “done deal” status
● Assist with updating tracking spreadsheets and reporting

● Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and property professionals
● Provide expert advice on tailored property finance solutions
● Stay up to date with lending regulations and market trends
● Perform ad-hoc bond and administrative duties as required

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include
● Managing active bond pipelines
● Converting grants to registrations within deadlines
● Maintaining strong bank relationships
● Driving consistent monthly performance
● Leveraging existing client books to grow origination portfolios
● Delivering exceptional client service throughout the loan lifecycle

Qualifications and Experience
● Minimum 2 years’ current experience as a Bond Originator / Mortgage Advisor / Home
Loan Consultant / Property Loan Specialist
● Proven monthly grant performance averaging R5 million or more
● Ability to provide evidence of approved grants
● Strong knowledge of home loan products and banking processes
● DealMaker system experience not needed but will be advantageous
● Strong sales and relationship-building skills
● Excellent communication and telephone etiquette
● Strong time management skills
● Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
● Professional presentation and client-facing confidence
