What You’ll Do

• Drive technology strategy, engineering uplift, and platform modernisation
• Mentor and inspire high-performing teams
• Architect and guide the creation of scalable, resilient, future-proof platforms
• Solve sophisticated technology challenges that keep a global trading ecosystem running seamlessly

What You Need to Land an Interview

• 10+ years in technical leadership roles (Global Markets experience = huge advantage)
• 5+ years of people leadership with a track record of growing and inspiring teams
• Strong grasp of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle
• Deep technical foundations across architecture, integration, data warehousing, APIs, testing, production systems, and business analysis
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle management and front-to-back trading processes
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, multiple asset classes, and risk concepts
• Hands-on experience with proactive monitoring & alerting technologies
• Clear understanding of investment banking operations
• Experience managing vendors and third-party partners
• Broad exposure to banking products, execution workflows, and market data platforms
• Working knowledge of enterprise tools: Control-M, Tibco, Informatica, reporting tools, etc.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, and Python
• Strong knowledge of mainstream databases
• Solid grounding in Agile delivery practices
• Understanding of project & program management
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills
• A natural coach and mentor with a passion for continuous learning
