Senior .Net Developer

Are you an experienced .NET Core Developer ready to tackle complex challenges in the financial services space? We're on the lookout for a Senior Developer to join a forward-thinking team on a 1-year contract, working in a hybrid setup from either Johannesburg or Cape Town.

This is your chance to work on scalable, cloud-native microservices in a Linux environment, using cutting-edge tools and practices!

�� What you’ll bring:

• 5–8 years' experience as a .NET Developer
• Deep expertise in .NET Core (cross-platform: Windows, Mac, Linux)
• Advanced skills in C#, .NET Framework, OOP, and SOLID principles
• Strong knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, or MongoDB
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability in designing and developing Web APIs, Microservices, DDD, and TDD
• Familiarity with tools like Entity Framework, NHibernate, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis
• Agile mindset with hands-on experience in Scrum/Agile environments

�� Nice to have:

• Financial services or regulated industry background
• DevOps/DevSecOps exposure, with a focus on automation and secure development practices

Reference number for this position is PM60531 which is a hybrid role for developers living in JHB/CPT. This is a 12-month contract position offering a salary of up to R550 P/H cost to company negotiable on experience and ability.
