Shaun Jacobs, newly appointed deputy editor at Daily Investor

Daily Investor announced that Shaun Jacobs has been promoted to deputy editor, where he will be responsible for the editorial direction of the publication.

Jacobs completed Bachelor's and Honours degrees at the University of Cape Town, and received a UCT Council Honours Merit Award.

After graduating, he joined Daily Investor as a journalist – and has consistently made strong contributions to the publication.

Daily Investor has grown to become South Africa’s largest and most influential finance and investment publication, with 2 million monthly readers, thanks to Jacobs’ contributions.

The publication is known for its in-depth coverage of South Africa’s financial sector, including listed companies, macro-economic policies, and business news.

Daily Investor’s popular podcast series, Smart Money with Alishia Seckam, has also become the place for the captains of industry to share their views.
