A fake email, originating from archbishopdt@mail2southafrica.com and purporting to be raising funds for Archbishop Desmond Tutu, is doing the rounds on the Internet. The office of Archbishop Tutu warns organisations and individuals not to be taken in by the email appeal to donate funds and says that the only recognised institution mandated to raise funds for his organisation is the Mpilo Ministries Trust. Investigations are underway to ascertain the origin of these emails.
