Ogilvy CT sparkles with American Swiss
Ogilvy Cape Town is set to rock this year after winning the American Swiss advertising account, one of the leading jewellery retailers in South Africa and a division of the Foschini Retail Group, it was announced this morning, Friday, 16 January 2009. This win follows the agency being awarded the SA Rugby account late last year.
“Great brands deserve great people and we are confident that with the committed and passionate team at Ogilvy we will be able to take the American Swiss brand to new heights,” commented Margot Rudolph, American Swiss marketing director.
Ogilvy was awarded the business after a credentials and creative pitch.
“We are thrilled to have won the pitch and have the opportunity to work with the leading South African jewellery brand. And while strategic thinking and thought leadership in specialist areas like digital and shopper marketing helped us win this pitch, the win is really a validation of the new energy at Ogilvy Cape Town,” added Gavin Levinsohn, MD.
American Swiss joins a list of blue chip clients including Castrol, BAT, Old Mutual, SAB, Cadbury, Volkswagen and Sun International.
