We are excited to announce the launch of Backsplash: South Africa's first and only magazine dedicated to the sport of Rowing.
Rowing is an elite high-end power/ endurance sport that has very strong and dedicated active membership as well as followers in terms of passive members of the rowing community. South Africa has produced world class rowers over the recent years, most notably the Men's U23 Pair, who have won 1 Gold and 2 Silvers in three U23 world Championships as well as the Senior Men's Pair who won bronze at the Olympic Games.
There has never been any publication/ commercial media covering this sport in the industry and we are excited to help grow the sport with this publication. It is also a fantastic opportunity for companies to target an untouched portion of the sporting market.
