Show profile Hide profileSandile Matebese a founding editor of a new publication titled "My Leader" Magazine, and the Managing Director of Kwena Pictures (Pty) Ltd trading as Nozinga Media and Publishing in Port Elizabeth.
Before that, he was the Senior Accounts Clerk in the Customer Care Division of the Budget & Treasury Directorate in the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Port Elizabeth.
As a municipal employee, he was consecutively invited as Special Policy Advisor to the Assistance To The Poor (ATTP) Policy of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, This followed a long recognition as Policy enthusiast and strategist at the Policy formulation processes, which also include the Nelson Mandela Bay Public Participation Policy making, and setting up of the platforms for Customer Care Policy formulation of the Municipality.
He is also a regional secretary of Aluta Missing Persons Support Group in the Nelson Mandela Bay region.
After his appointment as the regional secretary of (AMPSG)Aluta Missing Persons Support Group, he had been keeping constant contacts with the (NPA) National Prosecution Authority, Bureau Of Missing Persons in SA, International Bureau Of Missing Persons together with the families of the missing persons, about the whereabouts of their loved ones, and advising them of the processes for closure.
Sandile Matebese pitched several magazines apart from My Leader for South Africa, including:
1. Maestro, quarterly magazine for choral musicians and opera lovers,
2. Tempo magazine for middle aged males, who have been in the job market for more than two decades, and making plans for retirement, investment and leisure
• Involved in the production of a locally produced comedy series "The 19th Hole" created in the Nelson Mandela Bay region, he worked with Neil Hetherington the film writer and Director Of Photography for BBC and for SABC TV.
• He holds a Marketing Management Certificate from the erstwhile PE Technikon, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, he holds a Quality Customer Service Certificate Services SETA, he holds Certificate of Accomplishment (Service Excellence) Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Business School, he also holds a Certificate in Computer Education and IT Services ISETT SETA.
• Sandile has a certificate in Trainers Course Trident Institute (One Up Business Training Programme) Marketing and Small Business Management.
• At the time with the Municipality, he has been appointed as the Commissioner Of Oaths with effect from 31 Jul 1997 till resignation 30 Nov 2014.
• He is the general secretary of Eastern Rugby Football Club Established 1922 a club that has produced a number of springbok players, e.g.Toto Tsotsobe, Norman Xhoxho, Solly Tyibilika, Andile Nyembezi and a frequent visiting executive to Eastern Province Union Executive meetings and sports development sessions.
• Since 2000, he created and managed the Website of Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Southern Africa, till todate, he has been the only South African international contact of world churches of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, he receives, instructions, commands, requests, news from all over the world and ensure that, it is disseminated to church branches in South Africa.
